Did you know? Uganda has been a country condidtioned to suffering. 49.1% of the population is under the age of 14. That makes Uganda the second youngest population in the world.  What does that mean? This means there are more and more orphans everyday who need education, food to keep their stomach's full, and a safe place to sleep. 

About me? My name is Kaite. After working almost 3 years in the retail industry, I have decided to jump feet first into the mission field. Born and raised in Milwauke, WI, I will spend the next 40 day's in Birmingham, AL preparing my heart to love and serve all 81 beautiful children living at Sozo in Kampala, Uganda. 

Where does your donation go? Your donation will cover Sozo's Missionary Fee's: Monthly rent, 3 meals a day, and daily transportation. It will also cover airfare to and from Uganda. My fundraising goal will allow me to serve for 6 months. If I exceed my goal... well, then that just means God wants to me stay longer :)

Sozo Missionaries fuel the drive behind the on-ground Uganda work. They are considered facilitators. Since we have Ugandan staff in place raising the children and caring for their immediate needs, the missionaries are needed to assist those workers and invest in the children. They work alongside local Ugandans, inside Sozo homes and in outside communities, to further the gospel and represent Sozo Children.
