Who? I am Rachel Alexander.  When I was in high school, I felt the Lord stirring in me to search out opportunities to serve through different missions opportunities.  As the years went by, I struggled with what it might look like.  In His faithfulness, God has given me several opportunities; and I am overwhelmed with gladness about joining Sozo on the next adventure! Where? I will be working with Sozo to love children with the love of Jesus in Uganda, Africa. Why? I believe Jesus calls us to reach all the nations.  Uganda is not the only place I could serve, but I believe God has called me here for this season.  I believe Sozo lives out the story of God by shining the light of Jesus into the hearts, lives, and places of Uganda; and I want to join in that effort! When? I will be serving during the majority of the 2015 calendar year. I will be in Uganda from mid-February through May and July through December. How can you partner with me? You can support me in several ways.  If you choose to donate financially, your donation will assist in Sozo's Missionary fees and provide for my time in Uganda. My goal will allow me to serve for the entire time I mentioned above. You can give a one-time donation or a recurring/monthly donation.

Sozo Missionaries fuel the drive behind the on-ground Uganda work. They are considered facilitators. Since we have Ugandan staff in place raising the children and caring for their immediate needs, the missionaries are needed to assist those workers and invest in the children. They work alongside local Ugandans, inside Sozo homes and in outside communities, to further the gospel and represent Sozo Children.
