Hi!! I am happy to finally announce I will be traveling to Uganda this December. My name is Searcy Fox and I am a senior at the University of Alabama. I have been given the opportunity to travel with Sozo Children. This December I will be embarking on a journey to Kampala, Uganda. I’ve had the chance to participate in two mission trips to Nicaragua previously. This past spring break I traveled to Nicaragua with Bama Cru, the campus crusades at the University of Alabama. While in Nicaragua, I felt the need to do more. As soon as I returned back to the states, one of my sorority sisters started talking to me about Sozo Children. She then convinced me to join her and others to go to Uganda. I was thrilled to be able to finally travel to Uganda to serve!

            For the past three years, I have been trying to travel to Uganda with my home church in Mississippi. Each time plans fell through but now I am happy to say I will be able to go to Uganda!! If you know me personally, you understand how much serving others is a passion of mine. From preparing meals for the homeless in Jackson, MS, participating in three years of relief efforts on the coast of Mississippi, to serving two spring breaks in Nicaragua, I always am up to help others. Not only do I enjoy being there for other people, it gives more meaning to my life as well. I am excited to be able to be a servant hand again this Christmas. I am so grateful for any and all donations that will be contributed to my trip. Thank you so much in advance.
