Dear Family and Friends,
This summer I have the amazing opportunity to intern and serve alongside Sozo Children in Kampala, Uganda. While I am in Uganda for 8 weeks I will be immersed in the culture, grow in faith and see first hand the impact that a non-profit organization has on third world countries. My team and I have started preparing for the adventure of a lifetime studying God's word and praying together, for one another and those we will be meeting this summer. For years I have kept the verse Ephesians 2:10 close to my heart. It says "For we are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works which the Lord prepared in advance for us to do." I encourage you to read over this verse as you pray for me this summer. I am excited that the Lord has blessed me with the opportunity to travel to Uganda and share the gospel with others.
In order to travel to Uganda I need to raise $6000 which will cover my transportation, food, safety and housing to and from Uganda. Join me in praying that the Lord will provide the resources necessary to serve alongside Sozo Children. Pray that the Lord will provide us with wisdom, protection, and clarity in sharing the Gospel as we build relationships with those we meet. The 2018 Sozo Children Uganda Internship provides students (ages 18 - 21) with a life-changing summer experience! This 8-week experience in Kampala, Uganda will be spent in the village and our homes investing in the children’s lives and submersing into Ugandan culture! As an organization rooted in relationship, our internship is designed to grow relationships in three areas: Christ, other interns, and our Ugandan family. Please note: Interns will be credited 97 percent of credit card payments. Three percent is decucted to cover credit card fees. Likewise, an e-check payment will be deducted $0.35 from the fundraising campaign for bank fees.
