Hi everyone! Welcome to my fundraising page!
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Savannah Day and I am a freshman at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The Lord placed the love of missions on my heart during my junior year of high school, and I have never looked back. Since that time, I have done mission work in the Dominican Republic and twice in Uganda.
Upon returning from my last mission trip to Uganda, I felt God was moving me to return for a more extended period of time. I had no idea how this would come to pass, but God did. He has graciously given me the opportunity to intern with Sozo Children for this upcoming summer and I am excited and honored beyond measure.
During these two months, I will be working alongside missionaries and helping facilitate the ministry of Sozo Children. I will also be ministering in the villages, coordinating and leading night time devotions, and forming relationships with Ugandans.

The 2018 Sozo Children Uganda Internship provides students (ages 18 - 21) with a life-changing summer experience! This 8-week experience in Kampala, Uganda will be spent in the village and our homes investing in the children’s lives and submersing into Ugandan culture! As an organization rooted in relationship, our internship is designed to grow relationships in three areas: Christ, other interns, and our Ugandan family. Please note: Interns will be credited 97 percent of credit card payments. Three percent is decucted to cover credit card fees. Likewise, an e-check payment will be deducted $0.35 from the fundraising campaign for bank fees.
