Hi friends!

My name is Katie Belue and I'm a sophomore at the University of Alabama. I am so excited to embark on the adventure that is being a 2015 Sozo Children Intern. Being a 2015 Sozo Intern means that I will be spending over two months in Uganda. During my time there, I will be serving orphaned and neglected children while investing in the surrounding communities. My responsibilities as an intern will be: discipling the Sozo Children, assisting the Ugandan staff at home, growing in relationship with others, connecting believers in the surrounding communities, working alongside Ugandans in community rehabilitation efforts, growing the local church, and facilitating the Sozo Children teams. 

First and foremost, I invite you to come along side me in prayer for this summer. I ask that you pray for our team- that we will be brave in our journey to Uganda, courageous in sharing the Gospel, loving with every person we come into contact with, and illuminative in shining the Light of Life that we just can't keep to ourselves. I also ask that you pray for the beautiful people of Uganda- that their hearts be softened to the Gospel; that their ears be ready to hear the (very) Good News and their eyes be eager to see the Son. 

I also ask that you prayerfully consider giving financially. There is no amount too small- every cent is greatly appreciated and will be used for Kingdom expansion. He has gone before us and made and way and I'm expectant to see His perfect plan unfold. He will do exceedingly and abundantly more than we ask for, hope for, or imagine.

2015 Sozo Children Uganda Internship

Ephesians 4:1-6

This year we are excited to offer an incredible opportunity to a passionate group of college students. During the summer of 2015, each intern will be traveling to Uganda to serve orphan and neglected children while investing in the surrounding communities. They will each be stretched physically, spiritually, and emotionally while we explore the unique relationships found  in the body of Christ. Regardless of background or titles we hold we are ONE in Jesus Christ. 

This summer each intern will be tasked with the following responsibilites: discipling our Sozo Children, assisting the Ugandan staff at home, growing in relationship with each other, connecting believers in the surrounding communities, working alongside Ugandans in community rehabilitiation efforts, growing the local church, and facilitating Sozo Children teams.
