2015 Sozo Children Internship What an unbelievable joy it is to become a part what Jesus is doing in Uganda through Sozo Children! Words truly can’t describe the emotions that flood my heart when I think about how the Lord has blessed me with this invitation to rely on Him.  After coveting this position for months, and putting off the application process because of fear and worry about the logistics…the Lord broke me. He unveiled my lack of trust and reassured me that the only way this dream would become a reality was if I let go and simply let God. What a sweet reassurance of His unconditional love and support. Once I dropped the pen and agreed to let God write the rest of my story, everything fell into place. I’M GOING TO UGANDA! Thank you, Jesus! I am choosing to surrender all and cozy up in God’s arms for this journey because that’s the only way to ensure His will be done.
I can’t wait to share giggles with God’s precious children, rejoice in the gospel, serve until I can’t anymore, and grow even closer to Him in the times when I’m tired, dirty, and my faith is tested. I’m humbled to be standing on the threshold of reckless faith. I want to invite you to help send me though that door! I am trusting and believing in God to do BIG things as we set off to fill His heavenly nets in Kampala this summer. First and foremost, I invite you to join me with prayers of high expectancy for Kingdom advancement … if our God, the creator of the universe, can make nations out of dust-- just imagine how he can use a group of college interns to radically change lives for His glory! I also ask that you pray for boldness, endurance, health, and humility for our team. And also, for the precious people of Uganda as God prepares their hearts to hear His eternal life-giving Word. Secondly, I ask that you prayerfully consider supporting my trip financially. All donations are tax deductible and every penny counts! 2015 Sozo Children Uganda Internship

Ephesians 4:1-6

"I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all."

This year we are excited to offer an incredible opportunity to a passionate group of college students. During the summer of 2015, each intern will be traveling to Uganda to serve orphan and neglected children while investing in the surrounding communities. They will each be stretched physically, spiritually, and emotionally while we explore the unique relationships found  in the body of Christ. Regardless of background or titles we hold we are ONE in Jesus Christ. 

This summer each intern will be tasked with the following responsibilites: discipling our Sozo Children, assisting the Ugandan staff at home, growing in relationship with each other, connecting believers in the surrounding communities, working alongside Ugandans in community rehabilitiation efforts, growing the local church, and facilitating Sozo Children teams.
